Simple forms, universal, a circle, a bowl, a stick, a stone to touch. Made with attention to the surface, texture, breath, pressed with an impression of my hand at work often in quiet repetition like a meditation. Inter-woven ideas of the past with a taste of the new. Marise Rarere
Marise is not new to making and exhibiting art, though cast glass is a new pursuit. Marise has been working at Dicast Glass Studio on a regular basis for 3 years producing outstanding glass artworks.
