Sarah Marston – Owner
After completing her Fine Arts degree at Canterbury University, Sarah spent three years working in book design and another three years travelling through the United Kingdom and Europe, immersing herself in every art gallery she could find.
In 1987, she started her career in picture framing in Auckland, and in 1993 she set up The Framing Workshop in a small Cambridge studio. As the business grew, she moved into Hamilton East, and in 2005 she moved into the current Silverdale Road premises.
With Sarah’s personal interest and knowledge in art, she sees value in all works – no matter whether that value is in dollars, sentiment, or historical interest. All artwork is given the same respect and treated with the same care and attention. Over the years she has refined her craft in design and colour by keeping in touch with the latest ideas and materials , drawing from tradition and listening to your requirements .
