These pieces are an expression of things I see and enjoy in the natural environment. Each piece has a representation of a lichen or lichens within it as well as things I have collected. I love the shapes, the curves, and the textures. I have loved needlework and stitchery since my late teens and have loved fabrics and colour always. I hope I have conveyed some of that pleasure in the work on show here
